The ETSY Christmas Giveaway!
Hallo everyone! Greetings from Amsterdam! We just arrived yesterday and are still trying desperately to adjust to the frightfully cold weather. What we are loving though, is the pretty lights, festive markets and the reason for free-flow hot chocolate and apple cider because it reminds us that Christmas is coming! More than anything, we believe that Christmas is about giving – be it to your loved ones, the community, or even the strangers who haven’t become friends. And we’ve truly come to appreciate this with the wonderful people we’ve met along our journey as they’ve shared with us their wine, food, culture, stories and most importantly, friendship (: So to celebrate this season…

Chasing the Coffee Bandits

Best Cafes to Work at in Singapore (Part 1)
UPDATE: We have a NEW list of awesome cafes in Singapore that are conducive for working and studying! Find the link at the end of this post! It’s that time of the year. The marking season has descended upon us, which explains the strange phenomenon of grown adults all over the island clutching a heap of papers and weeping. Don’t judge us please. To ease the pain a little, ET and I retreat to cafes where we can seek some solace in flat whites or indulge in a plate of truffle fries as we battle the monstrosity of stress-induced gibberish and horrific handwriting. If you’re a teacher like us, or you need somewhere conducive…

ETSY Explores: Jalan Riang
This little street nestled in the midst of a sleepy Serangoon enclave is a wonderful addition to a growing number of hippie neighbourhood haunts. Despite its relative inaccessibility and hosting only 5 restaurants, it is evident that Jalan Riang is no longer a secret as it attracts a healthy number of patrons even on a regular weekend night. We made several trips to check out what the different restaurants offer, so here’s a little guide to our new favourite haunt!
